Warranty & Returns — Australia

Your rights under Australian law, plus our voluntary warranty.

Last updated: 04th July 2026 · Applies to Svitch e-bikes purchased for delivery in Australia.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The voluntary warranty below is given by Svitch Bike. in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). We recommend registering your bike at [registration link] so we can support you faster — registration is optional and does not affect your ACL rights or this warranty.

What This Warranty Covers

Under normal recreational use and proper maintenance, we warrant your Svitch e-bike against defects in materials and workmanship for the periods above. If a covered defect appears, we will, at our option, repair or replace the affected part, or replace the bike, at no charge for the part. This is separate from, and additional to, the remedies available to you under the ACL.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Normal wear and tear, and cosmetic damage such as scratches, fading, or corrosion from use.
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, stunts, jumps, racing, or use beyond the bike’s intended purpose.
  • Damage from improper assembly, storage, charging, or maintenance not following the user manual.
  • Water or liquid ingress caused by improper use (e.g., submersion or pressure washing).
  • Repairs, modifications, or parts fitted by anyone other than Svitch or a Svitch-authorised technician, and any resulting damage.
  • Damage from power surges or lightning while charging; and commercial, rental, or shared-fleet use.

Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes the consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Where goods fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a remedy under the ACL regardless of the voluntary warranty above.
